My name is Autumn.

Capturing the intimate moments is my jam.

I just love love.

When I'm looking through the lens I see your fingers running through your daughter's hair, the soft smile when your baby coos, how dad's hands wrap around yours as you bear through a contraction. I don't want to set you up and take a photo of you and your extended family smiling at the camera (I will, but that isn't what makes my heart sing). I want to hang out with you and your family. Get to know you deeply in the brief amount of time we have. With that said, I'd love for you to get to know me a little bit:

I am originally from southwest Florida, but have been in New Orleans for almost a decade.

While not a part of my current offerings, much of my personal art is made with various film cameras. I use a Hassalblad, 35mm Minolta, and various instant film cameras and often develop my own film at home. (If you are a film enthusiast as well let's connect!)

I am an avid book lover and gardener. I just built a 12x6 chicken coop and run completely by myself and currently have three month old chicks.

I collect satire and parodies.

The Dharma Bums by Jack Kerouac is my favorite novel.

I am a huge home-birth advocate. (I did birth my baby at home- it was absolutely perfect.) but also a huge advocate of people being able to make the choices that are right for them

""Photography is a way to freeze a moment, to tell a story, to capture emotion. It's the closest thing we have to stopping time.""
